A new documentary series from Amazon, NFTMe, explores nonfungible tokens (NFTs).

Fifty pioneers in the NFT space are introduced in six 30-minute episodes on NFTMe. Industry professionals, artists, and collectors are presented as the series shares their experiences during the modern-day merging of art and technology.

Some of the show’s featured guests include:

The Supremes singer, Susaye Greene

SpaceX & Nasa digital artist, Refik Anadol

One of Madonna’s musical producers, Peter Rafelson

Black Eyed Peas NFT collection manager, Cheryl Douglas

Episodes will also traverse topics such as: brands investigating NFTs as an introduction to new customers and audiences, the social victories and implications of a “digital transformation,” the advent of the metaverse, tokenization within the music industry, and more.

Producer Tech Talk Media noted that “NFTMe intends to be the MTV of NFTs, providing the default go-to for information on NFTs in a clear, understandable, and effective way, enabling viewers to absorb the plethora of terminology, diversity, and opportunity in the Web3 realm, whilst experiencing the culture, the mood, the style, and the energy.”

Production for the series began back in 2019. However, filming was severely hampered by the pandemic starting in early 2020. Tech Talk Media added that they sent in “A.I. robots equipped with LiDar sensors, enabling the director to remote move, direct, and communicate” with featured NFT personalities.

NFTMe is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video in the U.S. and United Kingdom. International rollout will reach other broadcasters next year.
