A new Web3 NFT marketplace platform has been launched by MNFTM. Geared specifically towards black and ethnically diverse creators and collectors, the all-inclusive platform will act as a full-service experience. A mentorship program will also be offered to new black artists in the metaverse.
CEO and founder, Ed Ukaonu, quoted from the MNFTM press release mentioned, “We sought out to create an NFT marketplace and community that enables Black and ethnically diverse creators globally to participate and thrive in this new digital economy… To showcase their exceptional masterpieces to the world by empowering and positioning them with the right tools in this new digital economy, Web 3.0.”
Since NFTs operate on Ethereum’s blockchain, they are equipped with “smart contracts.” Smart contracts govern the digital marketplace and keep it fair and balanced. Creators, for example, receive a commission each time one of their NFT creations is sold and resold. Therefore, NFTs have the potential to revolutionize the earnings of creatives.
