Former President Donald Trump’s foray into the NFT space was met with a lot of hype, as well as criticism, when it first launched in December, but since then it’s been met with decreasing demand and sales crashing.
The NFT access passes that were airdropped to NFT card holders have not been meeting the same excitement. The passes offer various perks, such as a group Zoom call with Trump, private and group Zoom calls, and more.
Many were selling for under $25.
Creating additional nuisance for access pass holders, the Zoom calls are limited to 2000 people and 20 minutes, and questions will be sent in beforehand but not necessarily asked or answered.
There are some NFT passes with hefty asking prices, such as a one-on-one Zoom meeting with Trump for 200 ETH ($277,000) and a gala dinner ticket NFT listed for 50 ETH (over $69,000). However, it doesn’t mean these will sell anywhere near the asking price.
As it stands, the NFTs are not as popular as they were at launch, and it doesn’t appear that they will recover anytime soon.
